It is difficult to make your property unacceptable for all pests.
However, you can minimize the potential for infestation or help
control an existing problem by paying particular attention to
sanitation.

As a rule...

  • Do not leave food out over night.

  • Keep food stored in a refrigerator or in containers with tight-
    fitting covers.

  • Do not leave pet food and water out overnight.

  • Do not leave dirty dishes in the sink or dishwasher for long
    periods of time.

  • Clean food or spills from counter tops, sinks and tables with
    soapy water.

  • Vacuum cracks and crevices and sweep or vacuum food and
    debris from floors.

  • Take trash out daily and store in tightly sealed containers.

  • Keep trash barrels and waste containers washed and clean.

  • Wash recyclable cans and bottles and remove them from the
    property regularly.

  • Ventilate areas where moisture or condensation are present.

  • Seal cracks and voids with caulking were insects may inhabit.

  • Repair leaky water pipes or faucets to eliminate moisture.

  • Take special care if you pick up used furniture, clothing, or other
household items as they may be harboring bed bugs or other
    unwanted pests.

FEED THEM AND THEY WILL COME!

You're sitting in the park and you tear off a small corner of your sandwich and toss it to a lone cute squirrel. Within a minute or two you're surrounded by 10 or more
pigeons, some sparrows, and a few more cute squirrels all wanting their small corner of your sandwich.

The same thing happens at home and at your place of business when you create conditions that animals and insects need to survive. For instance, not putting tight lids
on garbage cans, not cleaning up spilled bird seed under bird feeders, or as in the park, intentionally feeding a wild animal (thinking you’re doing the creature a favor)
can lead to an unwanted and in some cases dangerous encounter with wildlife. Not correcting these and other conditions is the same as ringing the dinner bell.

Animals and insects like to be near their food sources and this may cause them to set up housekeeping near or even in your home. Now they are no longer cute, now
they are a nuisance and depending on the species of animal or insect, they can be a potential threat to you, your family, and your property.

This is where we come in. We perform an in depth inspection of your property. In many cases we find the problem was in part, if not totally preventable. Once these
conditions are identified we can eliminate them.

Have our phone number handy because even with a successful removal of your current problem... if you feed them they WILL come again.

BED BUGS ARE BACK (cont.)

Recently there has been concern about bed
bugs transmitting diseases. Though they may
carry pathogens in their bodies it is
considered unlikely that they will transmit
diseases to humans. This is an area of
contention and research on the subject
continues.

Bed bugs are difficult pests to control and
elimination is not guaranteed. Occupants will
need to work closely to assist us in working to
get the problem under control.

We will leave you with information and
instructions outlining your part in the process
once treatment has begun.
